Public Safety Training Center Advisory Board

About the Board: The authority establishes policy to guide the routine operations of the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center and assists the administrative staff in efficiently carrying out the board’s objectives. The board's responsibilities also include to facilitate strategic thinking, performance monitoring, study and make recommendations including but not limited to planning, organization, equipment and funding; and the consideration of major issues providing advice to the Director and Board of Commissioners.

The board consists of 10 members including a representative from the Lancaster County Firemen’s Association, Lancaster County Fire Chiefs association, Lancaster County Emergency Medical Services Council, Lancaster County Police Chief’s Association, Fraternal Order of Police Association, Lancaster County Industrial Safety Council, Hazardous Materials Response team, Lancaster County Boroughs Association, and Lancaster County Association of Township Supervisors.
